10. Motorola Moto Z Play 

Moto Z Play is an Android smartphone developed by Motorola Mobility, a division of Lenovo. Unveiled on June 9, 2016 as its flagship model for the year, the Moto Z is distinguished by a system which allows case accessories to be magnetically attached to the device to provide additional functionality.

The Moto Z features an accessory system known as "Moto Mods". Mods are case-like accessories that are attached to the rear of the Moto Z via a series of magnets. Using the pogo pin connectors, Mods can communicate with the device to provide additional functionality. Mods are hot swappable, and are automatically detected by the operating system software once installed. During the launch event, Lenovo unveiled several mods to be available on launch, including battery packs, the "SoundBoost" (which features a JBL speaker and a kickstand), and a pico projector ("Insta-Share"). All Moto Z units will ship with the "Style Shell"—a basic case available with different color and material options.
9. Apple iPhone 6S Plus


The iPhone 6S Plus is a smartphones designed, developed and marketed by Apple Inc. The devices were announced on September 9, 2015.The 6S Plus jointly serve as successors to the iPhone 6 Plus of 2014 and were the flagship devices of the iPhone series until September 7, 2016, when they were replaced by the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
The iPhone 6S Plus has a similar design to the 6 but updated hardware, including a strengthened chassis and upgraded system-on-chip, a 12-megapixel camera, improved fingerprint recognition sensor, and LTE Advanced support. The iPhone 6S Plus also introduces a new hardware feature known as "3D Touch", which enables pressure-sensitive touch inputs.
8. LG G5

LG G5 is an Android smartphone developed by LG Electronics. It was announced during Mobile World Congress as the successor to the 2015 LG G4. The G5 is distinguished from its predecessors by its aluminum chassis and a focus on modularity; the lower housing which contains the battery can be slid from the bottom of the device, and replaced by alternative add-on modules that provide additional functions, such as a camera grip or a high-fidelity audio module with DAC.
The G5 received mixed reviews; while the device's design was praised for its shift to a metal construction while maintaining the ability to remove its battery, the modular accessory system was panned for its limited use cases and inability to perform hot swapping. LG's software was also panned for the quality of its customizations.

7. Samsung Galaxy S7

Samsung Galaxy S7 is a successor to the 2015 Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+, and was officially unveiled on 21 February 2016 during a Samsung press conference at Mobile World Congress, with a European and North American release scheduled for 11 March 2016. As with the S6, the S7 is produced in a standard model with a display size of 5.1 inches.
The Galaxy S7 is an evolution of the prior year's model, with notable improvements to the camera, including restoring features from the Galaxy S5 such as IP certification for water and dust resistance, as well as expandable storage.

6. One Plus 3T


 OnePlus 3T is a smartphone made by OnePlus. It is the successor to the OnePlus 3 and was revealed on 15 November 2016 via a Facebook live video. It went on sale in a new Gunmetal colour with the Soft Gold option being released soon after much like the OnePlus 3. The OnePlus 3T has 6 GB of RAM, the option of 64 or 128 GB of storage, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor that can support the new Daydream VR headset from Google.
It is an incremental update to the company's flagship phone being released only 6 months later. It features the identical optic AMOLED display, the Sony IMX 298 rear camera sensor, and Dash Charging that its predecessor had.

5. Apple iPhone 7

The Apple iPhone 7 was released on September 16, 2016, succeeding the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus as the current flagship devices in the iPhone series. 
The Apple iPhone 7 overall design is similar to the iPhone 6S, but introduces new color options, water and dust resistance, a new capacitive, static home key, and removes the 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device's internal hardware also received upgrades, including a heterogeneous quad-core system-on-chip with improved system and graphics performance, and upgraded 12 megapixel rear-facing cameras with optical image stabilization on all models and an additional telephoto lens on the iPhone 7 Plus model to provide enhanced zoom capabilities.

4. Google Nexus 6P

Nexus 6P is developed and marketed by Google and manufactured by Huawei. It succeeded the Nexus 6 as the flagship device of the Nexus line of Android devices by Google. Officially unveiled on 29 September 2015 along with the Nexus 5X at the Google Nexus 2015 press event held in San Francisco, it was made available for pre-order on the same day in United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Japan.
Significant changes over previous Nexus devices include an all-aluminum based body that is thinner and lighter than the Nexus 6, a rear fingerprint reader called Nexus Imprint, a faster octa-core Snapdragon 810 v2.1 system-on-chip (SoC), an AMOLED display, better cameras, enhanced LTE connectivity, a reversible USB Type-C dock connector, and the removal of wireless charging.
The Nexus 6P, along with the Nexus 5X, serve as launch devices for Android 6.0 "Marshmallow", which introduces a refreshed interface, performance and battery life improvements, Google Now on Tap integration, a fine-grained permission model, fingerprint verification, and other new features.
3. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is a successor to the 2015 Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+, and was officially unveiled on 21 February 2016 during a Samsung press conference at Mobile World Congress, with a European and North American release scheduled for 11 March 2016. As with the S6 Edge, S7 Edge variant has 5.5-inch curved display along the wide sides of the screen.
The Galaxy S7 Edge is an evolution of the prior year's model, with notable improvements to the camera, including restoring features from the Galaxy S5 such as IP certification for water and dust resistance, as well as expandable storage.

1. Google Pixel XL

Pixel XL was announced during a press event on October 4, 2016, and serve as Google's launch devices for Android 7.1 Nougat. The Pixel and Pixel XL are the first smartphones as part of the Google Pixel line.
Pixel XL ship with Android 7.1 "Nougat", an update to 7.0 that was initially exclusive to the Pixel. It was released for existing Nexus devices in December 2016, but certain features remain exclusive to Pixel.
Pixel supports Google Assistant, and provides live technical support services integrated into the OS. Similarly to Nexus devices, it receives Android updates directly from Google. Pixel also supports the Google Daydream virtual reality platform. All Pixel smartphones include unlimited full-resolution Google Photos backup for the life of the device. A November 2016 update added additional motion gestures, including double-tapping the screen to show alerts, and raising the device to wake the screen and raise-to-wake features.
